Welcome

First I would like to welcome you at ‘Stal Teugels’.

We focus ourselves on the dressage training of horses (all kind of races are welcome) and also on the correction off horse and rider. This can take place at our stable or at the place where the horse is standing. We also have often young en talented dressage- or jumping horses for sail (all with veterinary report).

We offer horses who are in perfect health, who have good manners, and who are in perfect balance mentally and physically. The movements and the exterior of the horse are very important and each horse has a veterinary report off a specialized vet.
The horses we sell are broken (when they weren’t yet) on a friendly and correct way. First they learn to walk, trot and canter in good balance on the lunge. We always use a lunging halter (never the lunge on the snaffle with a youngster) or ‘cavecon’. When the horse knows the lunge we start with lunging girth, and after a few days the saddle. Next step is moving, jumping etc.. next to the horse and finally getting on very gently. First just standing, afterwards a few paces etc… until the horse is in complete confidence with his rider. Walk,  trot, canter are next (on the left and right). Snaffle comes in and the first contact with the hand of the rider by a gently contact. We take our time for breaking them so that the horse is in full confidence with the rider and the helper so no accidents happen. They are familiar with the trailer, blacksmith, the vet, …
